Description: Permanent, full-time position. Repair, maintenance, and service duties. Troubleshooting and finding and relating information to customers. Inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Determine extent of repair. Test repaired equipment for proper performance. Specialized areas; fuel injection, exhaust, cooling, air conditioning and engine control systems. Mechanical repair vehicle brake systems, tires and wheels.
Certification/Licensing/Registration Requirements: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certificate
Experience: 2 – 3 years experience.
Essential Skills: Works well with others, problem solving, decision making, job task planning, organization and critical thinking skills.
Employment Conditions: Must have own tools. Some work in customer’s locations.
